Frequently Asked Questions About ComboSync
ComboSync is a data automation and integration Software as a Solution (SaaS). It can facilitate bi-directional data flow between your data sources and ComboCurve. It ingests client and third-party well and production data, and exports various ComboCurve products to your databases on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
You need to host a relational database to house and land data products. You also need a server to host the ComboSync Data Agent or Terminal Client, depending on version. Lastly, our Data Operations team needs to work with your people to get everyone aligned on processes, procedures, and outcomes.
We are continuously expanding ComboSync’s connections. To date, endpoints include SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Oracle, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Delta Lake, IHS Services, Enverus Services, and MongoDB.
The most common problems are data-specific and centered around management, governance, solution planning, and format. ComboSync requires APIs to interact, so we must also overcome security hurdles (ComboCurve is SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II certified) and ensure proper network configuration.
The implementation and deployment process is different for everyone. Depending on size and complexity, ComboSync deployment can happen as fast as one hour, and no longer than two weeks.
