Manual Processes Led to Missing Out on Lucrative Deals

Arrington’s reliance on legacy tools and manual processes for deal evaluations and asset management was proving to be labor-intensive and slow. Responding quickly to market opportunities was a pain point. The process often involved rudimentary calculations and delayed deal evaluations, sometimes taking weeks to complete. Additionally, the existing tools were found to be cumbersome and less intuitive.

Adopting ComboCurve provided the ability to automate forecasts, streamline deal evaluations, and easily integrate with existing workflows. Despite a non-technical background within parts of the Arrington team, ComboCurve’s intuitive design has allowed Arrington to quickly adapt and leverage the platform for complex tasks such as type curve analysis and cash flow forecasting.

ComboSync’s Added Value

Arrington also recently added ComboSync, our in-house data integration solution that enables the automated push-and-pull of data. Previously, Arrington would pull hundreds of wells in a field from Enverus, only to have to repeat that process on a monthly basis to keep production and data up to date. With ComboSync, production numbers, and data are updated automatically on a nightly or weekly basis with no additional effort. All that is left to do is modify forecasts!

A New Take on Evaluation Speed for Arrington

The speed and accuracy with which we can gather and analyze well performance data has made all the difference for us. 

Arrington relies on ComboCurve daily for acquisition evaluations, asset management, forecasting cash flows, and generating detailed reports for their LPs. 

Arrington establishes baseline type curves across over 40 areas and runs evaluations based on those curves. For acquisitions, ComboCurve enables Arrington to assess type curves, predict production start dates, and model future cash flows. This ensures alignment with LP expectations for returns.
